TAKING OUT YEL INSURANCE

YEL insurance must be signed within six months from the start-up of business under YEL.

To sign an insurance policy, an application form (pdf) shall be completed and handed in to Ilmarinen by the self-employed person.

When new employees are hired, the employer must take out a TyEL pension insurance policy for the employee during the month following the first salary payment.
