POSTED WORKER
A person is considered a posted worker, if the following criteria are met:
- The estimated duration of the posting to an EU- country is at the most 24 months. In countries with social agreement, the posting may continue for three years (five years in the USA and Australia).
- The obligations and rights of the employment contract have to remain with the sending employer.
- The posted worker is covered by the Finnish social security at the time when moving abroad.
A certificate of posting (e.g. A1 in EU-countries) shall be applied for from the Finnish Centre for Pensions (ETK) on form ETK 2132.
