POSTING OUTSIDE THE AGREEMENT COUNTRIES

When an employee is posted by a Finnish employer from Finland  to a non-agreement country, the employer shall insure the employee under the Finnish earnings-related pension legislation at least for the first two years. After the two-year period, the employer may apply for an exemption from the liability to take out TyEL insurance, provided that the employer has arranged equivalent pension insurance coverage for the employee in some other way.
