PENSION INSURANCE

Employers is required to provide their employees’ with earnings-related pension coverage.

All gainful employment is to be insured and accrues pension under TyEL (The Employee´s Pensions Act).

It is the employer’s obligation to take out insurance for his or her employees. Also employees participate in the costs of earnings-related pensions.

Self-employed persons must sign employment pension policies for themselves under YEL (The Self-Employed persons´s Pensions Act).
