APPLYING FOR A PENSION

Applications for pensions under the Employees’ Pensions Act (TyEL), the Self-Employed Persons’ Pensions Act (YEL) and other pensions under the National Pensions Act are made with a single application form. There are only Finnish and Swedish language application forms available. They can be printed out from our web pages via the link given below. In addition, you can obtain them from earnings-related pension institutions and offices of the Social Insurance Institution (Kela).

Applications can be returned to any office of a pension insurance company or Kela. The pension insurance company receiving the application will also forward it to other insurance companies for processing.

Earnings-related pensions are granted and paid by the pension insurance company covering the employee’s most recent job.
