Check your pension information on the Internet 

The pension records for 2010 are now available to Ilmarinen’s customers online. Customers can check from the record how much pension has accumulated to them by the end of 2009. They can also calculate an estimate of their future pension.

It is a good idea to check the electronic pension record immediately, because paper copies will not be mailed until July–November.

You can access the pension record in our online pension service by logging in with your personal net bank codes. The pension service is only available in Finnish and Swedish.

The pension record contains information on private employment relationships and self-employment periods on the basis of which the future pension will be calculated. Earnings-based pension  accumulates from almost all earnings. It is advisable to check the employment information each year in the same way as the tax form, even though there are few mistakes to correct in the pension record.

It is easy to report changes in employment information through the web service and print a paper copy of the pension record. It is also possible to add a reminder to the service, in which case we will send an e-mail or SMS message to the customer when a new pension record is available.

Compete for a travel gift voucher

Choosing an electronic pension record saves time, effort and the environment! All customers who have selected an electronic pension record in 2010 will compete for three travel gift vouchers (value €300 per voucher). The winners will be drawn in December 2010.

Earnings-based pension  grows from work

Information on the amount of future pension helps customers plan their personal finances. The longer they remain at work, the larger their pension will be. Pension can accumulate until 68 years of age if one continues to be employed. Thanks to a higher pension accumulation percentage, a person having turned 63 years will earn the same amount of pension in one year as he/she did in three years at a younger age.

Ilmarinen will send an employment record to approximately 727,000 employees and self-employed persons who had pension insurance with us at the end of 2009 or who were insured with us at the time of their previous employment. This is the third time that the pension record is mailed to all employees and self-employed persons aged 18 to 67 years.
