Receive your TyEL invoice electronically
Instead of a paper invoice, you can receive your TyEL invoice electronically either in your online bank or directly in your company’s financial management system. An electronic invoice is delivered reliably, easy to find later and helps reduce paper consumption.
How would you like to receive your TyEL invoice?
You can receive your TyEL invoice:
- as an online invoice if you process invoices in your company’s financial management system
- as an e-invoice in your online bank if you want to receive invoices directly in your online bank
Choose the option that suits you best and switch to electronic invoicing. See the instructions below for setting up an online invoice or an e-invoice.
How do I set up an online invoice?
If you receive invoices through your company's financial management system, an online invoice is the recommended option.
How to get started:
- Sign an agreement for receiving online invoices with your chosen operator.
- Obtain online invoicing software if needed.
- Once the agreement is in place, you will automatically receive your future TyEL invoices as online invoices from us.
We automatically retrieve your online invoicing address from the verkkolaskuosoite.fi directory.

Does your company have more than one e-invoicing address? Let us know which operator and e-invoicing address you would like to use for receiving your TyEL invoices.
Do the following:
- Sign in to the Employer Online Service.
- Select Insurance and invoices.
- Open Insurance details.
- Select How would you like to receive your invoice?
Log in to the Employer's service.

Please inform us if your current online invoicing operator changes to a bank, or if your bank changes to an operator.
Do the following:
- Sign in to the Employer Online Service.
- Go to Insurance and invoices → Insurance details → How would you like to receive your invoice?
- Update your new e-invoicing details in the service.
How do I set up an e-invoice?
An online bank e-invoice is the right option for you if you want to receive your TyEL invoices directly in your online bank.
Order an online bank e-invoice in your online bank as follows:
- Go to the e-invoice section in your online bank.
- Select TYEL MAKSU as the billing subject.
- Add your TyEL insurance number.
Once your order has been processed, your future invoices will be delivered electronically to your online bank.
Do you use the Palkka.fi service?
If you use the Palkka.fi service, your TyEL contribution is generated directly in the service, and we do not send a separate invoice.
In the business interface of Palkka.fi, you can also choose to receive invoices from your pension provider. In the household interface, this option is not available and payments are always created in the Palkka.fi service.
