Positive preliminary decision on vocational rehabilitation

Preliminary decision 

Based on your application, you will receive a preliminary decision from us on your right to vocational rehabilitation. You can find the preliminary decision in our MyPension service under ‘My documents’. Start planning your rehabilitation as soon as you receive the decision. Write your ideas in a rehabilitation plan and send it to us during the validity of the preliminary decision. The preliminary decision is valid for approximately 10 months.

The preliminary decision also contains an estimate of your rehabilitation allowance, i.e. the financial support that you will receive from us during vocational rehabilitation. Read more about the rehabilitation allowance

If you have applied for a disability pension 

If you have applied for a disability pension from us, we will assess whether you would also benefit from vocational rehabilitation. Vocational rehabilitation measures take precedence over disability pensions.

When processing your disability pension application, we may come to the conclusion that you would benefit from vocational rehabilitation. In that case, you will receive a preliminary decision on vocational rehabilitation without applying for it yourself.

We will gladly assist you in all matters related to vocational rehabilitation. You can find the contact details of your dedicated rehabilitation specialist in the preliminary vocational rehabilitation decision you received. The decision is available in our MyPension service under your ‘My documents’. Contact your rehabilitation specialist – they will help you get started with vocational rehabilitation and assist you every step of the way.
