Important to know at the turn of the year pensioner
You can see the amount of your pension for the coming year, the payment dates and information on the amount of tax withholding from the MyPension service on our website at the beginning of December. We will approach our pensioners towards the end of the year via SMS and e-mail, reminding them to view the information online.
Pensions will rise by about 0.9 per cent at the beginning of 2026. You can see the amount of your pension and payment information by logging in to our online service. At the same time, check that your contact information is correct.
Digital letter is better for information security
The majority of our pension recipients receive a text message from us, which directs them to check the amount of pension and payment information for the coming year online. Exceptions include pensioners living abroad and customers with a guardian. The paper letter is also received by our customers who for some other reason are unable to use the online service.
In the online service, personal information is behind the authentication and does not have the same risk of falling into the wrong hands as delivering information by letter. In terms of information security, online service is of today.
The advantage of online communication is also the rapid transmission of information. Online information is immediately visible, while letter mail takes time to arrive.

Tax cards for pensioners and employees will come into force from 1 January 2026. If you want to increase your tax rate, you can do so in MyPension. Have you worked alongside a pension?
Remember to also apply for the pension accrued from work done in retirement, as it does not start automatically. You must apply for it at your highest old-age pension age, which is 68 or 69 according to your year of birth. You can see the age limits in the table on When to Retire? Apply for a pension with an old-age pension application on our online service.
